So, my final purchase arrived in the mail today. Here's the receipt to verify the order date was well before November 1… (Don't think I didn't go a little nutso in preparation for this challenge. The last couple of weeks have had the UPS guy at the office a lot!)
I opened the box happily, taking in every moment of anticipation. This thrill was going to have to last me a looooong time!
I opened it up knowing a silver puffy car coat from Lands' End would be in the box, but I was surprised to also see a oatmeal heather professor cardigan. (tsk tsk… black out shopper)
I think this coat will be so much fun this winter. I'm a little bummed I didn't have the wherewithal to pick up some coordinating silver moon boots before my Nov. 1 cut off date!
I was sorry to see a coupon included in the box that had to be used before Nov. 30th. But I gave it to Audra; she's my friend and someone might as well benefit from my crazy quest!

Sara – I really love this jacket. It's pouffy and warm, the collar is like a soft pillow. The only drawback: when wearing it, I somewhat resemble a baked potato!
